The Royal Historical Society runs an active annual programme of research grants for postgraduates and early career historians.
These awards include the Early Career Fellowship Grants, offering funds of up to £2000 to support career-building research or activities post-PhD, to smaller grants to assist with conference organisation and conference travel, research expenses, public speaking, as well as named scholarships to study African history.
